Are The Bad Old Days are back?
I moved to New York City in late 2000 and there hasn't been a week that has gone by in nearly twenty years that someone hadn't bemoaned the passing of The Good Old Gritty Real New York City. That kind of kvetching is over now that we're seeing a resurgence of many Bad Old Day type things. And, friends, it's going to get worse. Sure, you can leave but where ya gonna go? The Virus is everywhere. Just think of the bragging rights you'll have if the city survives! And who knows, you might be able to get a great deal on some godawful condo in Hudson Yards before the waters rise. ;)
